The day started awesome went and had a nice breakfast then went over to the Peace to do a look little half added photoshoot 🙂

Then off I went on the exciting journey! After about 20 mins it started pouring and continued for about 3 he’s but it didn’t sap my spirits I had pep in my step and good thoughts and tunes in my head. I finally took a rain break in Bellingham. I never been there kind of a neat city!

Then off again as it stopped raining but soon started back up (rain is a theme here). Chuckanut Drive kicked my ass!
There was a nice break in the weather and the sun came out so I decided to stop in edison which is a really cute little town, ala Gilmore Girls. Outside the eatery I met my first bikers. The guy below is August and he is doing the same tour as me kinda fun 🙂

I go inside and there I see Gianna just chilling having lunch with her friend. Seriously in Edison what are the odds! So that was fun 🙂

And here LHT wanted his picture taken again before we got on WA-20 for Anacortes.

Then it was off to Deception Pass . the second ass kicking but more grueling after 60 miles riding.

Which brings us here

And a crossroads in my first day. I opted to cut my mileage short and stay in here Oak Harbor, instead if continuing to Port Townsend and setting up camp, as I was wet tired and the thought of a ferry ride and setting up my tent at 9 at night was enough for me to say fuck it!
So tomorrow well be interesting I have decided to make up the mileage over the next two days which sounds good right now let’s see what my rear end has to say in the morning 😉
All in all in happy with what I accomplished today and am looking forward to what this journey brings moving forward.
Stay tuned…
And now sleep, goodnight!
