Day 163 NYC, NY-Bridgewater, NJ

It was nice to get back on the road. It has been fun New York but I got places to go.

It was a nice quiet Sunday ride down to the Financial District where I caught the ferry over to New Jersey my sixth state since getting back into the country.

While I was waiting for the ferry another cyclist showed up. Nick from Boston is on his first cycle tour and heading down to Key West. After some quick introductions and excitement on seeing another tourer again (and one going the same way to boot) we decided to ride together for awhile.

Around Plainfield we parted ways as He was off to Princeton and myself to Bridgewater. Safe travels my friends I’m sure I’ll see you again down the road.
