Today was a great ride and I’m back on schedule as I was able to make up the 20 miles from yesterday!
I started out at 6:00am in the cold darkness. My body wasn’t happy about this but soon fell into a rhythm and felt pretty good. This helps
Stopped in Coupeville for a few. How could you not, it is a neat little town.
Then off to the ferry that was supposed to take me to Port Townsend last night. Where is my boat! Coupeville doesn’t seem to care that I’m 3 hrs behind schedule.
Stopped for breakfast at this neat little cafe called the Blue Moose
Which is located here in this industrial area at my connection to the Larry Scott trail.
LHT wanted a photo as we got into Port Ludlow.
I was taking a break on the road out of Paridise Bay and ran into August the biker taking the same trip as me, he went ahead to lunch in Poulsbo and I trucked ahead. I think I’ll be seeing him again.
Nothing much of note going through Silverdale and Bremerton. Got a clear message in Belfair that I’m definitely not in the city anymore 🙂
Which brings us finally to my scheduled destination. I was so happy to see this sign!
And finally here is my humble abode and the view I woke up to this morning.
