Today started great if a little late. Here are some of the things that saw me out of town to Tomales which took me inland through rolling hills in the valley. The riding went pretty quick.
Saw these little piglets playing around on the was to Tomales (the town not the delicious food 🙂
The scenery was beautiful. I stopped in Tomales for a snack then continued on. You could definitely smell the money in Marin County nice cars about everywhere and recreational cyclists on 10,000 dollar bikes.
Going through Marshall was fun to ride through and around it’s right on Tomales Bay
Got off on a back road in Pt Reyes Station and then a nice bike path and back roads to Woodacre. This stretch was fast and fun I didn’t have time to take pictures 🙂
It was great coming around the bend to Fairfax it was nice to see city life again after spending do much time in small town USA.
Hey look at that. My first peak of San Francisco.
Here is the first peak of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Got on the trail next to the Great Highway leading towards my motel for the night. Not a bad view
And someone clearly a fan of Mondrian. I think it looks silly
Which brings me to my home for the night. It’s a bit of a dump but at least it’s not $150 a night and it comes with a view 🙂
Well that’s it for today tomorrow I hope to make it to my cousin’s in Morgan Hill. Really looking forward to visiting family 🙂 But with the early stop today tomorrow’s ride will be the biggest day yet.
