Day 22:

Today started great woke up feeling good and happy to hit the road as today will be a special stop.

It was a pretty cold start it was foggy around Santa Cruz and started clearing up as I was leaving Altos. Here is what caught my eye on the way. It was foggy out and pretty ordinary businesses and what not.

The road took me to Manresa Beach where I stopped for a bit to watch the waves really pretty spot. Looks like a good place to surf too 🙂

Then it took me inland and immediately I was back in farm country.

Then I got on SR 152 towards Morgan Hill. It started fine going through farm country

But then I started a monster climb on the scariest road I’ve been on yet. By the time it got really hairy (no shoulder, a steep climb, lots of switchbacks and Easter traffic) I was already have way up and turning around would have been more dangerous when you add speed to the mix. I was really happy to get to the top and off that thing.

And was really happy to make it to my destination. My cousin Lynn’s house 🙂

And see these wonderful people. Louis, Lynn, Anastasia. Marie, Auntie Eva. All wonderful people and so sweet 🙂 I’m happy to be here.

Well that’s it for today. Not it’s a break so my posts will be a bit lazy 🙂 but I’ll be back at it soon enough
