Today started a bit sluggish. I didn’t sleep well last night but here we are time to roll. So I packed up my stuff and headed out to those hills that’ll greet me today.
The ride started out great stopped at Point Lobos State Reserve outside Carmel Highlands. A very pretty place I wish I had all day to walk around.
Here’s the road up to “Hurricane Point” which was a nice little climb. And Big Surprise. The whole ride had some amazing views here is what I saw 🙂
I wonder what this was for. Clearly no longer in service
And just beyond is Limekiln State Park where I decided to stop as I was tired physically and mentally. All they had was regular camp spots (no hiker/biker) and it was $35! I was about to try my luck down the road but came across three Taiwanese dudes who were looking to stop so we split it. These guys are going from LA to San Fransisco and then east to New York. Pretty awesome especially considering two of them have never been to America! Nice people 🙂
