Today started out great was sad to leave my brother’s and then littles but I was excited to get back on the bike and the road.
While I was visiting and resting I decided to box up everything I won’t need going further with everything I’m not taking on the airplane and have my brother ship it when I get home. A much easier option then running around San Diego looking for a proper shipping place.

Here is the paired down LHT.

The road to Malibu went so quick it surprised me 30 miles went by.
Here is a pic rounding Point Mugu

I wonder if David Hasselhoff still drives one of these.

And then into Santa Monica and my connection to a really nice bike path that took me all the way to Hermosa Beach some 16 miles on the path.

At Redondo Beach I turned inland and stopped in Torrance when I heard that tell tale jingle for a cool break 🙂

Outside of Carson I got on anotger bike path that is on top of the LA river. I didn’t even know this path was here. Really cool!
Tiny river

And finally my body couldn’t go anymore. Luckily there was a motel close by so I got a room for the night. I think this place doubles as a brothel but I’m too tired to care. Set the deadbolt and gonna get some rest.

That’s it for today. Tomorrow is an easy day to just outside Dana Point for another short break before the last push to the Border.
