Day 79 Orangeville-Toronto
The ride from Orangeville was a stress free endeavor as it was a short distance and I had all day to get there. I booked a cheap place by the airport for a song of a deal.
I took a really nice side road that took me through some pretty countryside before getting to Brampton then on to Toronto. I am still fascinated and enamored by the rural-ness of Canada. It seemed like I was in the middle of nowhere and then all of a sudden this thriving city is just there.
I started seeing these behemoths in rural BC and did’nt see another one till now. They are enormous and completely out of place as in this case there was a corn field across the street.
Getting close to the airport and my port of call for the next few day. I’m not sure why (Maybe being a city kid) but scenes like this bring me a feeling of peace and contentment. I really love the outskirts of cities that are completely concrete and devoid of people.
After checking into my hotel, this is how I spent my evening. It was actually quite fun and much easier than hand washing in the sink.
Here’s the few from my hotel room looking North, lots of plane traffic but surprisingly quiet.
Tomorrow is dedicated to getting the bike fixed and the next few days to exploring Toronto
