Day 85 Cobourg-Brighton
Today proved to be a short day. I’m still riding with the Ruru’s and it was an absolutely lovely ride to Brighton, ON which was a perfect spot for lunch and a bit of relaxation to take in the town.
We started the exercise of tracking down accommodations on a holiday weekend and luckily a nice camp host just outside of Brighton on the way to Prince Edward, ON who would find us a patch of lawn to camp, and at only $12 CAD a person which is much better than the previous location. The North Shore RV Park also had a much friendlier environment with a pool a beautiful waterfront and a fireworks show to boot! The dutch hosts were the icing on the cake as they were lovely people and very gracious.
Not a bad place to rest your head for the night…
That blue jay (stellar jay) piano was awesome! a real art piece!
