Day 86 Brighton-Kingston
It was a nice leisurely start to the day getting back on the bike about 9am for a long ride across Prince Edwards County which took us through a few wonderful little island towns. All the towns in Prince Edward County and up towards Bath, ON are on the Loyalists Parkway and are proud of their loyalist heritage, which formed shortly after the American Revolution.
It was a long day with a late finish. I try to get my riding done before 2pm but today’s ride finished after 5pm which takes it’s toll and shortens recovery. But, the reason the day took so look was that the ride and scenery were amazing with a lot of stops to admire and look around.
Here is a few snaps of today’s exploration:
It’s always fun when the day included a ferry ride even if it was only for 5 minutes.
Ontario is so big I guess they need to separate the tourists. Hopefully they let me out!
