Pacific City was a really cool little beach town that had this neat rock just chill in out there in the water.
Here is a picture that shows the other side of Devil’s Lake just before Lincoln City. And one when I finally got to the Pacific outside of Lincoln City.

Today started out great, broke down camp had a cup of coffee with my touring buddy Eric then headed out of Cape Lookout State Park.
Immediately I was created by a monster hill climb which was great because it got my body warmed up. Eric caught up with me at the top which was fun (he is a lot faster than me). Here are a couple pics of above the fog.

The road down was fast and here is where Eric and I parted as I was taking the Sandlake detour.

I stopped for an unremarkable lunch in Neskowin the headed off US101 onto Slab Creek Dr (Old Scenic US 101) which was quiet and a really pretty road.

I took the Otter Crest Loop just before Otter Rock to get off the main road and see quieter scenery it didn’t disappoint.

I finally made it to my home for the night getting into Beverly Beach State Park about 5:30pm and low and behold my new buddy Eric is already here set up and relaxing. We chit chatted about the days ride and our experiences so far which was fun.

Tomorrow is going to be a short day for me. So won’t be seeing my new buddy anymore as he’ll be way ahead of me after tomorrow. But that’s OK we both are on different adventures. I’ll probably call it quits at my breakfast stop and enjoy the rest of my birthday 🙂
